Assignment: Provide Structural & Civil Engineering consultancy services and solutions. The project is on-going. Services include design of the 7-level RC (Reinforced Concrete) building, stormwater management system design, improvement of founding grounds to support building's foundations, boundary wall and transformer house structural design.

This project incorporated the use of EPS flooring as an alternative to the conventional RC flooring as a building weight reduction and enhanced construction speed solution.

Assignment: Structural Assessment of Existing Building including foundations, Structural design of new floors, Construction supervision to ensure precision, standards, specifications and quality are attained.

Assignment: Assessment of structural members for renovation works; Structural design of new roof structures; Structural design of amphitheater; Structural designs to convert shipping containers to washrooms; civil engineering design of road access & drainage systems.  

Assignment appointed by Somers Engineering Ltd.: Structural assessment of classroom beams, walls and columns and base to safely accommodate additional floor. Design of precast slab system and structural beams to support new flooring. Precast pretensioned concrete block and beam system was adopted.

Assignment: Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Test) using GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) equipment and other measurement equipment to collect relevant site data at existing building; Undertake data analysis and evaluation of both original design data and site data to determine existing concrete volumes; Presentation of report.

Assignment appointed by Somers Engineering Ltd: Structural engineering evaluation of PT (Post Tension) designs done by others; Construction site supervision to ensure precision, standards and specifications are attained in installing PT cables and accessories; Monitoring the concrete beams performance and strength gain by adopting PT construction methodologies and guide. 

Benefits of PT Construction: Projects are able to achieve large spans, save on construction time, attain superior quality.

Assignment: Provide Structural consultancy services to ensure successful implementation of existing residence renovations covering structural assessment of existing building, design solution for additional floors, design of cantilevered steel structure for the carport and providing stormwater management solutions.

Assignment appointed by Somers Engineering Ltd: Supervision during construction of school structures. As professional engineer was engaged by the project engineering consultancy office to undertake structural design of school building and civil works infrastructure. Subsequently engaged to supervise the construction supervision under MBCH.

Supervision of construction included construction of reinforced concrete duct as solution to divert existing water stream running across the games field.

Assignment: Provide complete Structural engineering design and solutions to a 50 units housing development including the ancillary structures that include storage water tank structures, swimming pool, gate house, and boundary wall. Undertake supervision during construction to ensure accurate setting out of houses, ground levels, standards and specifications are attained.

Assignment: appointed by Somers Engineering Ltd to supervised the installation of PT (Post Tension) reinforcing cables as a cost and design effective flooring solution. The PT cables are reinforcement solution with approximate 4 times higher strength in comparison to conventional reinforcing bars.

The PT innovative solution provides savings in construction materials, higher quality finished product, savings in construction time; and an improved architectural and performing parking building with spaced columns to accommodate comfortable driving and parking experience.

Assignment: Provide Structural & Civil Engineering consultancy services covering planning. conceptual design discussions, documentation for county approvals covering building structures, access road and parking, stormwater and sewer disposal management systems.; undertake construction supervision to completion. Designs considered future expansion.
